2026 CLOSED HOLIDAYS **NO Yard Debris pick up on Holiday Weeks** Christmas Day 2025-Closed
New Years Day 2026 - Closed. We will close at noon on Wednesday Dec 24,2025 and Wednesday Jan 1, 2026. Thanksgiving 2026 - If your household pick up day falls on Thursday November 26th it will be picked up on Wednesday November 25, regular household pick up schedule for Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Our office will be closed Thursday November 26 and close at noon on Wednesday November 25. Christmas 2026 - If your household pick up day is Thursday December 24th it will be picked up Wednesday December 23th. If your household pick up falls on Friday December 25 it will be picked up on Thursday December 24. Monday and Tuesday household pick up regular schedule. Our office will close at noon on Wednesday December 23th and we will be closed Thursday December 25th. New Year 2027 - If your household pick up falls on Thursday Jan 1, 2027, it will be picked up on Wednesday December 31. *For more updates through out the year then please follow our facebook page by clicking HERE

Welcome to Cumberland Garbage and Trash Service. INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATE... Schedule Update and reminder we are a private company for paying customers we are NOT the City of Fayetteville Sanitation department. Please go to the City of Fayetteville website for their schedule changes… Due to the road conditions and in order to keep our crews safe We will be CLOSED Monday Jan 26! The schedule for the week is as follows -if your pick up day is on Monday it will be picked up on Tuesday -if your pick up day is Tuesday it will be picked up on Wednesday - Thursday and Friday pick up days will remain the same There is NO yard debris pick up this week! Please have all your items curbside by 6am. Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe! All 2026 payments have been sent out. Please contact or office if you did not receive one. Reminder for the upcoming holiday. We will be OPEN and running on regular schedule (weather permitting) on Monday January 19th. Our only holidays for 2026 are Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Please have all your items curbside by 6am on your pick up days. If there is any changes to the schedule due to inclement weather over the weekend, we will update our page and our information line. We hope you and your families have a safe holiday weekend and as always thank you for choosing Cumberland Garbage. Any New Information or Updates will be posted here! A few things to keep in mind for the 2026… -As of Jan 1, 2026 please start having your items curbside by 6am or the night before on all your pick up days -Our ONLY holidays that we are closed in 2026 are New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Please read your packets for any schedule changes for those weeks and please remember there is no yard debris or special pickups those holiday week. - All trash MUST BE BAGGED. This includes any cardboard boxes that are not able to be stacked inside of each other. There will be NO LOOSES GARBAGE picked up that is left beside the container. For card board boxes they will pick up to 10 boxes, if you break down 10 boxes and put them in one box that is considered 1. Please do not place loose trash beside the container or inside of the container, it is not sanitary and can cause ant problems. -Please DO NOT MIX your household trash with yard debris. -If you are on autodraft with our company, you are good to go, just remember if you have any changes to your card on file with us, please give us a call to update your card to avoid the $12.00 decline fee. -If you are on auto bill pay through your personal bank (which automatically sends us a check directly) please check your packet and make sure you have the correct account number and payment amount set up and a delivery date to get to us by the 10th of each month on your bill pay account -If you send in your own checks or money orders please check your account number and monthly payment amount and make sure to either include your stub or write your account number on your check As we enter our 53nd year we want to continue to thank our family, friends and customers for your continued support!
