2025 CLOSED HOLIDAYS **NO Yard Debris or Recycle Pick up on Holiday Weeks**
New Years 2025 - we will be on regular schedule for household pick up this week. We will close at noon on Tuesday Dec 31,2024 and we will be closed Wednesday Jan 1, 2025.
July 4th 2025 - If your household pick up day is Friday July 4th it will be picked up on Thursday July 3. If your household pick up is Thursday July 3 it will be picked up Wednesday July 2. Our office will be closed Friday July 4th. Monday and Tuesday household pick up remain the same the week of July 4th 2025.Thanksgiving 2025 - If your household pick up day falls on Thursday November 27th it will be picked up on Wednesday November 26, regular household pick up schedule for Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Our office will be closed Thursday November 27.
Christmas 2025 - If your household pick up day is Thursday December 25th it will be picked up Wednesday December 24th. Monday, Tuesday and Friday household pick up regular schedule. Our office will close at noon on Wednesday December 24th and we will be closed Thursday December 25th.

Guidelines &
Policies
- All trash must be curbside by 7 am.
Drivers will regularly note trash that is not out. If you miss the
truck it will not be picked up until your next schedule pick up day.
If we miss your trash, it must be called into the office within 24 hours.
- We do not pick up tires, car batteries, concrete, dirt, bricks,
rocks, paint, hot ashes, or toxic materials.
- All yard waste is vegetation that grows in the yard. This
cannot be mixed with any metal, plastic or foreign matter. This material is
ground into mulch at the landfill and is reused. No boards or building
material.
- For the areas that receive yard debris,
please make sure your debris is either in bags left untied or a container with the lid off and not to
exceed 75 lbs. in weight or they will not be picked up. Do not put grass
clippings or branches on tarps. Limbs are not to exceed 5ft long or 4 in. in
diameter and must be tied or bundled, not to exceed 75 lbs. Yard debris can
be burned in the county or you can take it to Wilkes Rd. landfill. Call them
at 486-0839 for information.
- Harnett County area can receive
yard debris pick up for an additional 2.00/month for the months
needed. Please call the office if you wish to add this on to your
service.

There is a limit of 10 moving boxes per pick up day.

Make sure your house number is clearly marked. This is a county regulation.

For our customers who are using the roll out carts, please remove them from the
curb as soon as possible after your pick up. If service is stopped for
non-payment and the container is picked up, a $15.00 service charge for the
re-delivery will be added to your account. If service is stopped more than
once, the cart will not be redelivered. You will need to provide your own
containers.

If Recycle is available in your area and you are a PAYING RECYCLE CUSTOMER then these are the Acceptable Recyclables- Plastics
(numbered 1-7 in a triangle) including black plastic, soft drink and water
bottles, plastic milk jugs. Aluminum cans (drink cans). Tin or metal cans
(food cans rinsed out. Un waxed cardboard (cereal, cracker boxes, pizza
boxes etc., whole or flattened). Newspapers including advertising inserts.
Magazines, catalogues, pamphlets, brochures, annual reports, etc. whether
shiny or not, telephone books, office paper, stationary, post it notes,
school paper. Junk mail and advertisements, envelopes, posters, greeting
cards, art paper. Cash register, adding machine, fax and computer papers, aluminum foil.

There is a limit of 10 moving boxes per
household per recycling pickup day.

NON-ACCEPTABLE RECYCLABLES-
PLASTIC BAGS, GLASS of any kind, trash bags, (all recycle needs to be lose in the container, not in bags) tissues, paper towels, toilet paper,
paper napkins. Food, food wrapping and food contaminated packaging and meat
trays. Styrofoam in any form such as packing, peanuts, meat trays, etc. Wax
coated paper cartons including milk cartons. Saran wrap and cellophane.
Plastic coated report covers, ream covers, notebooks, and spiral bound
items. Paint cans unless the paint is completely dried up. Ink cartridges,
batteries. Photographic paper or film including negatives, x-rays, MRI films
etc. Hanging files. Rubber items including rubber bands. Clothing, rags,
cloth items. Appliances, furniture, wood or wooden items. Plastic items not
marked with a recycle logo (triangle surrounding a number).
RECYCLE IS NOT MANDATORY AND ONLY AVAILABLE IN CERTAIN AREAS AT $6.00 EXTRA PER MONTH. PLEASE REFER TO YOUR INFORMATION PACKET OR CALL THE OFFICE IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.
